I parked at Pumphouse Rd which is right before the Tonetta Lake parking area. Then it continues through the Maybrook, Putnam, North County and South County rail trails to NYC. It is snow and ice-free at this time. The parking lot at Overocker road is small. The plan calls for a continuous off-road, shared-use pathway from New York City to Buffalo. It's a great, relaxing trail, paved all the way,with a couple small hills. This is going to be an awesome trail when it is done.
